MAGIC OILS

What are magical oils?

Essential oils derived from plant source have been used for both medicinal and medical purposes. Created with a specific purpose in mind with visualization and energy manipulation. They are known for being used often in ceremonies and rituals. Oils can also be used on people and objects to anoint or dress which essentially two words are meant to apply oil.

We have two different sources for oils:

·         Essential oils are made directly from natural sources including flowers, leaves, bark of tree, resins, seeds or fruit rinds of a variety of plants.

·         Fragrances are synthetically created used a variety of chemicals with little or no natural sources.

·         Or you can make your own oils.

 Types of oils

1)      Coconut oil

2)      Jojoba Oil

3)      Olive oil

4)      Sweet Almond oil

5)      Argon Oil

 

Carrier oils (used as base for magic oils) are essential oils are made from plants. Carrier oils are used to dilute essential oils and carry them to your skin. That’s because essential oils are potent can cause irritation when applied directly to your skin.

 

Types of oils

Anointing oils: sacred oil that’s blessed and charged and specially formulated for specific purpose, usually for people.

Carrier oils: Vegetable and mineral oils that are used to help dilute essential oils that could cause skin irritation.

Condition oils: Anointing or conjure oils used to help relieve or improve someone’s condition.

Conjure oils:: A dressing oil from an ancient practice usually African, European or Native American tradition. Often found in Hoodoo.

Dressing oil: Specially prepared oil applied to spell and ritual objects before using them to sanctify, charge, and prepare them for use.

Essential oils: Volatile, concentrated oils, with the characteristics scent of the plant/flower they are from.

Ritual oils: Oils used to anoint candles, ritual tools, material, furniture, money, and other such items and then use to anoint the body are often called anointing oils.

These incredibly effective oils-some of which have been around for centuries and are extracted from plants to capture their flavors, scents and overall beneficial properties.

 

Before you Begin

Before getting started, there are a few basics to remember when working with essential oils:

·         When applying oils typically, always use carrier oil. These are oils used to dilute essential oils, like coconut or jojoba oil.

·         Always do a patch test before applying anything to larger areas of your skin.

·         Many essential oils are toxic and shouldn’t be orally consumed unless under the specific care of a healthcare professional.

·         But “pure” essential oils. There are all kinds of knock-off versions and perfume oils that don’t contain the same benefits.

Other needed items

·         Small bottles with screw-on caps for blending and storing essential oils, and for mixing with carrier oils.

·         Small droppers to transfer essential and carrier oils into blending bottles.

·         A dropper marked with a milliliter gauge for measuring carrier oil (optional).

·         Small adhesive label

·         A note book

·         Cotton swabs or perfume blotter strips/ scent testing strips (optional).

·         Make sure that the bottles and droppers are clean and dry before use. It is best to work on a surface that is washable because essential oils can damage warmish, paint, and plastic surface.

·         I also recommend putting down a layer of paper towels to catch any stray drops.

·         The 2-3 ML size bottles are good for blending essential oils, and the 15 or 30 ML sizes work well for blending them with carrier oils.

·         All bottles used for essential oils should be dark in colour and made of glass. A dark bottle prevents oil degradation caused by light. Most bottles in the market are usually amber or cobalt blue and come in a variety of sizes. A never use plastic bottle as the chemical composition of plastic bottle may react with essential oil making it bad for usage.

·         Also have separate dropper for each essential oil when transferring them to the blending bottle to avoid even a minor inadvertent mixing of oils. Even a tiny bit of different oil can change the fragrance.

 

Magical oil Recipes

1)      Fast Money oil

·         Pinch of Mint

·         Pint of Ginger

·         3 cloves

·         Pinch of cinnamon

           Add all these oils with 1/8 cup of jojoba oil. Keep all the ingredients in front of you and add one by one. While adding the ingredients visualize Money is flowing, then swirl, sniff.

2)      Alter Oil

·         1 star anise

·         2 drops of Jasmine oil or Dry jasmine oil

·         2-3 leaves of basil

            Anoint the Alter with this oil on regular intervals, calling your Gods & Goddess to watch over it.

 

3)      Anointing oil

·         5 drops of Jasmine oil  or dry flowers

·         Pinch of cinnamon

        Use for general Ritual anointing.

4)      Business Success oil

·         1 part Nutmeg

·         1 part Basil

·         Small piece of Bay leaf

·         1 pinch of ground cinnamon

Mix all the oils and add the pinch of ground cinnamon to the base oil. Anoint the hands, cash register, business card or the front door of the place of business to increase cash flow.

5)      Citrus purification

·         3 drops orange

·         2 drops of lemongrass

·         2 drops lemon

·         1 drop lime

Anoint white candles and burn in the home to purify.

6)      Come and see me oil

·         5 drops patchouli oil

·         1 drop cinnamon oil

To attract the ideal mate, mix two essential oils in as olive oil base, smear on a white image candle of the appropriate sex, and burn with visualization.

7)      Courage oil

·         3 drops ginger oil or dry powder

·         1 drop black pepper oil or dry powder

·         1 drop clove oil or dry powder

Wear to increase your courage, especially before being introduced to people, prior to public speaking, and other nerve-wracking situation.

8)      Energy oil

·         4 drops of orange essential oil or dry peel powder

·         2 drops of lime essential oil or peel powder

·         1 drop cardamom or 3 pieces

Wear when feeling depleted, when ill, or just to strengthen your own energy reserves. Especially useful after heavy magical ritual to recharge your bodily batteries.

9)      Healing Oil

·         4 drops rosemary  or bay leaf

·         2 drops lemon oil or peel

·         1 drop sandal wood or fennel

Wear for speed healing.

10)  Love energy oil

·         5 drops rose oil or dry flower

·         3 drops rosemary oil

·         Pinch of basil dry powder

·         2 drops lemon oil or peel

Wear to draw love. Anoint pink candle and burn while visualizing.

11)  Protection oil:

·         5 black pepper

·         3 drops cinnamon or powder

·         2 drops clove oil or 2 pieces

·         1 drop fennel oil or pinch of fennel

Wear for protection against all kinds of attacks. Also anoint windows, doors and other parts of the house to guard it.

12)  Sleep oil

·         2 drops rose or flower dry

·         2 drop jasmine or flower dry

·         1 drop chamomile or flower dry

Anoint the temples, neck, pulses of both wrists, and soles of the feet. It brings on natural sleep.

Saint and angel oils can be used for prayer, meditation and focus

13)  Angel or Archangel oil

·         ½ part lavender or 5 drops

·         ½ part sandalwood or 2 drops

·         Holy water, few drops

·         Spring water, a few drops

Used in angelic invocation and to create a peaceful atmosphere; use with pink candle to attract friends, or with a white candle to calm a troubled home.

14)  Guardian Angel Oil

·         ½ part rose or 5 drops

·         ½ part fennel or 5 drops

·         Vanilla extract or 10 drops essential oil

You can anoint yourself with this oil during times of prayer, during meditation for guidance, and in times of stress when you need something to calm you.

Saint and angel oils can be used for prayers, meditation and focus

15)  All saint oil

·         60 ML base oil

·         Add equal parts

·         Cinnamon

·         Big cardamom black and green cardamom

·         Basil

·         Bay leaf

·         Lavender

·         Star Anise

·         Jasmine

Anoint candles in rituals to bring added success, healing success.

16)  Fear and Anxiety oil

·         30 ML of sweet almond oil

·         5 drops lavender

·         3 drops basil

·         1 drop sandalwood or chamomile

Use to overcome from anxiety and fear.

17)  Stuffy nose oil steam inhalation recipe

·         6 drops lavender essential oil

·         4 drops mint essential oil

·         3 drops lemon essential oil

Boil a small pan with distilled water over medium heat. Add the essential oils into the water and cover your head with a towel. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the steam to be inhaled for 5 minutes.

18)  Chronic Pain massage recipe

·         6 drops lavender essential oil

·         4 drops rosemary essential oil

·         4 drops clove essential oil

·          60 ML carrier oil of choice

Add the essential oils into the carrier oil and stir. Apply the massage oil to the painful area with light pressure.

19)  Happiness Diffuser Recipe

·         10 drops bergamot essential oil or basil

·         5 drops clove essential oil

·         10 drops sandalwood essential oil or fennel

·         5 drops ylang ylang essential oil or lemon

Combine the essential oils in the diffuser and turn it on.

20)  Concentration Remedy

·         5 drops basil essential oil

·         3 drops rosemary essential oil

·         4 drops peppermint essential oil

·         3 drops tulsi essential oil

·         5 drops lemon essential oil

·         4 drops turmeric essential oil

Combine all the ingredients in the diffuser and turn it on. This is a good option for use at work to increase productivity.

21)  Stress be gone

·         12 drops sage essential oil

·         4 drops lemon essential oil

·         4 drops lavender essential oil

Add the essential oils into the carrier oil and stir. Apply the massage oil to the painful area with light pressure.

What is spell work?

It’s a ceremony or ritual done by magical formula intended to trigger a magical effect on a person or objects.

OR

This is done to call all the positive energies to help you manifest your desired dream or goal.

(NOTE: Don’t perform any spell without any permission of the other person; it will affect you and the person too.)

To begin using oils in your everyday life, put a few drops of oil on your skin, stone, in a bath, oil burner, or diffuser. To use oils in magical practices, you can choose oils:

·         That you like the smell of

·         To help you focus on spell work

·         According to their correspondences

Whichever the purpose, always remember to visualize your intention to get the most magic out of them.

How to charge your oils?

·         Concentrate on the work you’re doing.

·         If you are making oil to be used in healing for a friend, see that friend in a healthy state.

·         While mixing oils to bring money into your life, concentrate on the oil doing just that.

·         If you are able to form clear mental pictures, practice magical visualization during preparations as well as during the rite itself.

·         See in your mind’s eye that the mixture is effective. See it as having already done its work. This moves your personal power into the oils.

How to charge your oils?

·         In ritual the energies released by the oils combine with your own to bring about your magical needs.

·         Magical visualization is the best way to “jump-start” oil mixtures, but don’t worry if you are unable to adequately visualize.

·         Simply concentrate on your needed goal. The herbs will do their work.

How to use your magical oils?

·         Always use oils with visualization and with power.

·         They are onto candles which are then burned in ritual.

·         Rubbing a love oil on the wrists, the neck, and over the heart infuses the magician with love-attracting energies.

·         Courage oil similarly imbues her or him with the strength to forge ahead in the face of adversity.

·         A simple bath can be transformed into a ritual by adding several drops of oil to the water.

·         Quartz crystals and other stones are also rubbed with oils to boost their energies during spells and rituals.

 

 

 

Hoodoo Oils

·         When you put specific oil on an object or place or person, you are accelerating the powder of the spell that you want to invoke or conjure within that object, place or person. You can also use it to seal that power that has been placed in/ on them.

·         Powders and oils are an integral part of hoodoo tradition.

·         The general use of oils and the way they are used in hoodoo practices in that each oil is conditioned with a purpose.

·         What gave rise to the knowledge that certain scents are associated with certain emotions and can invoke certain feelings.

·         Hoodoo is not exactly science that can be cooked up in a laboratory. It requires the merging of mind and spirit.

·         Many hoodoo and voodoo spells require certain blends of oils and powders to accomplish a particular work or to enhance a spell. Always use a natural carrier oil to blend your magical oils can burn the skin. You should only use a drop or two at a time on the skin.

·         In a mortar and pestle, pour two ounces of your base oil (olive, almond, grape seed, etc.) and then add the herbs and other ingredients. Gently crush the ingredients and transfer the mixture to an airtight container and store in a dark place. After four days, check the oil to see if the fragrance is to the desired strength.

1.      Coins and Candle Money spell

·         Coins make for good magical tools for prosperity, not only because they are literal representations of wealth, but because they can also symbolize the seeds of future wealth to come. When you add the focused energies of your own Lucky Money oil, the spell becomes even more powerful!

·         At each stage of the spell, it’s important that you behave as if you have already received the money. Spend a few minutes imagining the feeling of receiving money unexpectedly. Perhaps you can recall a time when you found a dollar on the ground or got a surprise check in the mail. If you can’t recall any specific event, invent one and imagine it in detail.

Things you need

Method

·         First, anoint your temples, third eye, and pulse points with the oil.

·         Then inscribe your initials on the candle along with a symbol of money-a dollar sign, for eg: or a rune associated with wealth.

·         Hold it in your hands for a few moments and visualize your personal power flowing into the candle itself. When you feel ready, anoint it with the lucky money oil and place it in its holder.

·         Next, hold the coins stacked together between your palms.

·         Again, summon the feeling of happy surprise at receiving an unexpected boon to your finances.

·         Arrange the coins; face up, in the shape of a triangle facing you.

·         Anoint them with the oil by placing one drop on the center of each coin, saying these ( or your own) words three times: “As like attracts like, this money brings more.”

·         Now, as you light the candle, say “So let it be.”

·         Allow the candle to burn out on its own before removing the coins.

·         Place one in your kitchen, one in your living area, and carry the third with you i9n your purse, wallet, or the pocket of some items of clothing that you wear daily.

Ingredients

·         Hearth and home protection oil

·         1 black spell candle

·         1 bay leaf

·         1 pinch of dried basil and nutmeg

·         1 amethyst or clear quartz crystal

·         1 drawstring charm sachet

 

Method

·         Anoint your temples, third eye, and pulse points with the oil.

·         Then anoint the candle while visualizing your environment encircled and infused with white light.

·         Place the crystal in the charm bag, followed by the herbs. Sprinkle 3 drops of the bag, then pull it closed.

·         Light the candle and place the charm in front of it, while saying the following (or your words):

“Through herbs, stone and oil

Would-be thieves this charm does foil.

So let it be,”

·         Leave the charm in place until the candle has burned out.

·         Then place it somewhere in your home where it will not draw unnecessary attention, but you will still see it.

 

3.      Steamy Love Attraction Spell

·         This spell is suitable for both singles and people in relationships looking to spice up their love life. The chief crystalizing action of the spell is actually the pouring of the water onto the essential oils.

·         If possible, use just the single oils called for in the Love Energy blend, rather than the blend itself, for the diffusing step. Otherwise, you can use the blend for the diffusing step, but it’s not as aromatically satisfying due to the mix of water and carrier oil.

·         Be sure that the water is not actually boiling when you pour it, or you will scorch the oil. If it reaches a boil before you take it off the stove, let it sit and cool for a minute before pouring.

·         This should go without saying, but be very careful not to aim your energy at a specific person in a manipulative way. This can really backfire, even if you have partner or spouse in mind. It’s never wise to concentrate or controlling the feelings or actions of another person- instead, concentrate on how you want to feel in the experience you are manifesting.

Thing you need:

·         1 red spell candle

·         Love energy oil for anointing

·         1 cup of filtered water tea, kettle or small sauce pan

·         Cauldron or other non-metallic bowl not used for food

·         Pinch of dried lavender, patchouli, and/ or hibiscus flower

Method

·         Take a few moments to call up memories and feelings of well-being, excitement, and physical attraction. How do you feel when you are caught up in the energy of a passionate love affair? Concentrate on that delightful thrill as you anoint your wrists, pulse points, and third eye with the oil.

·         Hold the cup of water in your hands and charge it with the energy of love and passion.

·         Next, pour the water into the kettle or pan and put it on the stove to boil. (Don’t use a microwave unless you absolutely have to.)

·         While the water heats, anoints the candle and sprinkle the herbs in a circle around its base.

·         Continuing to visualize your goal, light the candle and say these (or your words):

 

“Love and passion,

In my own fashion,

I call to me

Through power of attraction.”

·         When the water is just about to boil, take it off the heat. Then place 1-2 drops each of the single essential oil (or 6-8 drops of the full Love energy blend) in the cauldron or bowl.

·         Set it on your altar or other heat-resistant work space.

·         Gently pour the water over the oil, while repeating the words above and then ending with “So let it be.”

·         Now step back a bit from the cauldron, as the scent of the volatile oils will be quite strong at first.

·         Visualize your personal power carried on the steam as it rises up and crosses into the non-physical planes of the universe.

·         Wait until the water has cooled and most of the scent has evaporated before pouring it out.

·         Allow the candle to burn all the way down on its own. The faster it burns, the sooner your love experience will come into your life!

 

Magic oil to look more attractive to others and yourself

Ingredients

·         Olive oil 50 ml

·         Grape seed oil 50 ml

·         Jasmine essential oil 5 drops

·         Patchouli essential oil 5 drops

·         Sandalwood Essential oil 3 drops

Method

·         Mix all the ingredients together and pour the mixture in the glass container

·         Charge it under the moon light on full moon night

·         Pour a bit of mixture in the bath water. Water should be warm.

·         Take your time to meditate about your beauty.

·         Feel the oil working on your skin.

·         Visualize them like a shield of light.

Note: Your bath should not exceed 20 minutes. Oil can only be stored for maximum 6 months.
